| Judy S. Freedman, a licensed clinical social worker, has had therapeutic and educational experience with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. As a social worker in an elementary school for sixteen years, she has taken a pro-active approach toward bringing stress education into the classroom. Judy developed EASING THE TEASING® after listening to kids and realizing that they need and can learn these coping skills. Her innovative program was featured in the Chicago Tribune in June 1999. She has had articles published in ERIC Digest and the Chicago Parent Magazine. Her program was featured on CBS 2 Chicago, the Today Show, the News with Brian Williams on MSNBC, NBC Nightly News, and Fox Reports in March 2001. She also appeared on a panel discussing school bullying on Channel 11's Chicago Tonight and was a guest on WGN Radio's Spike O'Dell morning show. Judy continues to present EASING THE TEASING -Helping Kids Cope to parents groups, educators, and children. She is a social worker at Prairie School, Kildeer District #96, in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, where she is implementing EASING THE TEASING®.
